BIO

Dr. JungWon Yoon is a courtesy faculty member in the School of Information, returning to USF after serving on the SI faculty from 2006 to 2020. She is Professor of Library and Information Science at Jeonbuk National University in the Republic of Korea. Her research addresses scholarly communication (open access, open research information, multilingualism, and epistemic inequality in scholarly publishing) and human information behavior and user experience (health information behavior,  visual information seeking, underserved populations, eye-tracking research). She holds a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of North Texas.
