Center for Cryptographic Research holds 2025 CodeBreakHERS Summer camp
From June 23rd to June 27th , the Center for Cryptographic Research organized the 6th edition of the CodeBreakHERs summer camp. It is a weeklong summer program in cybersecurity featuring hands-on activities on network security, coding theory, cryptography, hardware security, and digital forensics.

Jean-François Biasse receives Killam Visiting Scholar Award
In 2025-2026, Jean-François Biasse will be the Killam Visiting Scholar of the University of Calgary (AB). Each year, one visitor to the University of Calgary (across all departments) is granted a Visiting Scholar award by the Killam Trust.

Giacomo Micheli Receives an NSF CAREER Award
Giacomo Micheli received an NSF CAREER award of $500,000 over five years to work on rank metric codes from Drinfeld Modules and new primitives in code-based cryptography.

Jean-François Biasse named co-PI on Quantum City grant
In July 2024, Jean-François Biasse received (as a Co-PI) a CAD 280,000 2-year grant from Quantum City, an institute formed in partnership between the University of Calgary, the Government of Alberta, and the Mphasis company.
