CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY CONCENTRATION

The Ph.D. program concentration in Clinical Psychology is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association and the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System, and it is a member of the Academy of Psychological Clinical Sciences. The goal of our program is to train students to use psychological science to assess, understand, ameliorate and prevent human problems.

COGNITION, NEUROSCIENCE, AND SOCIAL CONCENTRATION

In the CNS Ph.D. concentration, our goal is to educate scientists who will successfully compete for academic and applied positions and contribute meaningful research in their chosen field. We strive to expose students to a variety of experimental methodologies and analytical techniques, train students to apply sound experimental techniques to address basic and applied research problems, and foster knowledge and appreciation of the cognitive, neural, and social aspects of behavior.

INDUSTRIAL-ORGANIZATIONAL CONCENTRATION

The Ph.D. program concentration in I-O psychology is a rigorous training experience intended to provide students with outstanding research skills and expertise in quantitative methods. We prepare students for university faculty positions as well as positions that involve the application of organizational science within government and industry. The development of research skills is emphasized as the essential foundation for both academic and applied careers.
