Dr. Daniel Horn has BSW and MSW degrees from Florida State University and a Ph.D. in social work from the University of Tennessee. He is a macro-practitioner of social work with experience in community development, data and program management, and grassroots community organizing. Dr. Horn has worked to help disadvantaged groups through social and economic empowerment. Their primary area of research focuses on economic justice, with specific attention aimed at increasing power among marginalized populations. Daniel managed large datasets for a multi-site research center studying the impact of guaranteed income on various economic, health, and social outcomes. Daniel is exceptionally skilled and experienced in survey management, data maintenance, and data manipulation using various technological and analytic platforms. For their dissertation, Daniel developed and administered a scale measuring the impact of a guaranteed income on political participation via text message surveying.
