We are offering Live Support Saturday, May 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for any faculty who may need assistance adjusting assignments or have other Canvas-related questions. Next week M-F we will also continue to offer extended hours of Live Support operating from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Honorlock Updates
Please note that USF has updated the Honorlock syllabus statement. Any faculty using Honorlock will be required to include this updated version in their upcoming Spring semester course syllabus. You can access the updated version on the USF Syllabus Template or our Honorlock page (see FAQ item #1).
Additionally, following a successful pilot of Honorlock’s Side Camera View and Enhanced Desktop Security application, both features will now be officially integrated into our institutional instance of Honorlock.
IMPORTANT: Please note that both of these new features require additional preparation for the students. The new Side Camera View requires students to acquire and use an additional external USB webcam. The Enhanced Desktop Security application requires students to download and additional app which they will be prompted during the pre-checks. If you intend to use either of these features, please ensure adequate student preparation through the inclusion of the Honorlock syllabus statement (within Simple Syllabus), the inclusion of the student preparation module, and practice test activities reflecting all features you will use within your tests.
For additional information on either of these new features and/or recommended best practices to help ensure a successful implementation, please email us to schedule a consultation.
