Scholarship Award Structure:
- $5,000 total
- $2,500 awarded in Spring
- $2,500 awarded in Fall
Additional Savings for Out-of-State Fellows:
Out-of-state Fellows may qualify for Code 50, which grants in-state tuition rates during awarded semesters. Completing 9 credits each term can result in an additional $8,825 in savings.
Additional Financial Opportunities:
Fellows may also apply for USF graduate assistantships and scholarships.

Peace Corps service enhances the academic experience at PCGS by providing Fellows with:
- Skills to lead and implement sustainability initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with diverse communities to build consensus.
- Leadership capacity to motivate others and drive sustainable change.
- International perspective and cultural awareness essential for addressing global sustainability challenges.
Peace Corps Service will support academic experience through:
- Providing Returning Peace Corps Volunteers (RPVCs) with the skills needed to affect change and garner support for global sustainability initiatives.
- The ability to collaborate with diverse groups to achieve consensus.
- Leadership skills that will help motivate others to take action in the field of sustainability.
- International knowledge and experience that allows for a better understanding of global sustainability issues and the promotion of innovative sustainable practices.
On average, 75-85% of our graduates who are seeking jobs obtain positions in the sustainability field within 12 months of graduation. Examples of recent alumni careers include:
