Centre Gallery Internship

Our Centre Gallery Interns are an integral part of the Centre Gallery Team. They
are often the first people that visitors to the Centre Gallery will interact with and
encounter. They report directly to our Centre Gallery Art and Program Directors, and
throughout the duration of their internship will assist with a variety of gallery
operations and with the execution of ideas, initiatives, and projects.

Option 1: Class Credit

Intern is a current student in the School of Art and Art History and is interning for class credit. Interns will complete a total of 90 hours throughout the duration of their internship. Interns can expect to dedicate around 5.5 hours per week to the Centre Gallery.

Option 2: Volunteer Hours

Intern is NOT a student in the School of Art and Art History, but is interning for volunteer hours. Interns will complete a total of 90 volunteer hours throughout the duration of their internship. Interns can expect to dedicate around 5.5 volunteer hours per week to the Centre Gallery.

Responsible for working with CG Marketing Director for content creation for the CG instagram	Responsible for working with CG Program Director on planning Sip and Paints and CG Pop-Up events	Responsible for assisting CG Art Directors in the curation of exhibitions and planning for Opening Receptions
Event capture (photography) at CG Opening Receptions and events	Forming new partnerships and collaborations with departments and organizations for events	Finding and identifying new partnerships in the community and maintaining relationships
