2015 USF School of Information Grad Publishes on High Impact Learning Models

Engaging Students Book Cover

USF School of Information M.A. in Library and Information Science (MLIS) graduate Caitlin Richardson, a librarian and Director of Learning Resources at Miami Dade College, contributed an article in a new book entitled Engaging Students through Campus Libraries: High-Impact Learning Models.

An extension of her work done while a student at USF, the book focuses on high impact learning models that bridge the library into the classroom. Engaging Students through Campus Libraries calls attention to work in information literacy that goes beyond a traditional librarian role; it features librarians and faculty partners who engage in projects that highlight salient, experiential facets of the AAC&U practices in order to teach information literacy. In this book, librarians will learn high-impact, experiential learning models for working with students.
