Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of South Florida. Below are a set of brief tips to help you prepare for your transition to USF and our college, based on where you are now. Our focus is an advising one, not an admission's one. If you have questions about USF admissions, please see the USF Admissions website.
In order to help you transition to USF, we invite you to meet with our academic advisors to discuss how you can best prepare to become a USF Bull! We kindly ask that prospective students schedule their advising appointment outside our busiest times of the year when our current students need us most. In general, best dates to meet with an advisor are:
- Jan 15 to March 1
- May 15 to Aug 1
- Sept 1 to Oct 1
