Following a review of human subjects research study protocols by the QA/QI group in
Research Integrity & Compliance, we learned that investigators were not always using
language on the consent forms that had been approved by the COI Committee as part
of an Conflict Management Plan. This change will allow us to confirm that the appropriate
language has been included in the consent form. Other language assures RIC will have
the necessary permissions to review the disclosures of Covered Officials so that we
may address the matter of institutional COIs. This language appears in the Institutional
COI Policy. |
