The Center for Student Involvement has always and will always be dedicated to ensuring that our students are consistently engaged with our community and having fun while doing it. CSI will continually have events planned and lined up to keep the student body entertained and by doing so, this will provide us with an avenue to stay connected to each other.

Diane Guerrero: Latinx Heritage Speaker | Join us for an evening with the actress from "Orange Is The New Black" on Tuesday, November 17th from 7:00 PM- 8:00 PM via Microsoft Teams. Named one of the top 10 Latina actresses to watch by Variety magazine, Diane Guerrero, draws from her personal and professional experiences to inspire audiences that success is possible—no matter the obstacles in the way. In 2015, Diane was nominated by former President Barack Obama, to be a White House Ambassador for Citizenship and Naturalization. She is an outspoken advocate for common sense, comprehensive immigration reform, and has worked with Immigrant Legal Resource Center and Mi Familia Vota, a nonpartisan Latino civic engagement organization to promote citizenship and voter registration. VIP Access: Mean Girls | On Wednesday, we're wearing pink and you should too! Join us on Wednesday November 18, 2020, from 8:00 PM-9:30 PM for a showing of the movie Mean Girls. After the movie, we will be announcing the top three winners of the pink contest. Centre Gallery: Artist Q&A with Nneka Jones | Join the Centre Gallery team on November 18th, from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM for an exciting Q&A session with Nneka Jones, a Contemporary Embroidery Artist. She will discuss her artwork, website, and answer any questions you may have about working with mixed media while discussing current social issues.
