Our Interdisciplinary Social Sciences (ISS) bachelor's degree program is designed to
provide our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in our increasingly diverse world. This flexible degree program develops students' intellectual and practical
skills in: communication, leadership, critical
and analytical thinking, problem solving, methodological reasoning, statistical analysis,
and multicultural and global understanding.
These skill sets align exceedingly well with the skills that 21st century employers value and
seek.

Students majoring in ISS have opportunities to participate in internships, education abroad, and undergraduate research. Majors are also eligible to apply for our awards and scholarships.
