First-tier technical support for USF supported technology comes from the Help Desk (; 813-974-1222).

Support for External Applications

Technologies, tools, and online resources that are not officially supported by USF may be employed by any faculty member, but instructors must serve as their own tech-support for the tools (unless the tools have their own third-party support structure). ATLE personnel can consult with you to brainstorm alternatives and workarounds if the primary tool isn't functioning.

Support for Classroom Technology

Should you have a technology problem in a classroom, please contact the Classroom Support Helpline at (813) 974-2382 (or you can use the Help button on the LCD Control Panel, located on the Teaching Station). If we aren't able to assist you over the phone, a technician will be deployed to your classroom right away. Hours are as follows:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
  • Fridays: 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
