Auxiliary Enterprises supports the university’s strategic goals by providing high-quality, essential services that enhance campus life and promote student success. Our unit comprises Housing & Residential Education, Dining, the Bookstore, Beverage and Snack Vending, Parking and Transportation Services, the Print Center and Fleet Services. We fulfill our mission through strategic partnerships, effective contract management, operational efficiencies, and responsible stewardship of university assets and resources, all with a strong emphasis on student success.

Ana Hernandez, PhD
Associate Vice President, Auxiliary Enterprises and Strategic Contract Management
Ana Hernandez, PhD is the associate vice president for Auxiliary Enterprises and Strategic
Contract Management at the University of South Florida (USF). She provides strategic
leadership for an expansive portfolio of university-owned and contracted auxiliary
enterprises comprising Housing & Residential Education, Parking & Transportation Services,
Fleet Services, Campus Dining, USF Bookstore, Printing and Vending. In her prior role,
she led USF Housing & Residential Education, soliciting, negotiating, and securing
a public-private partnership to build The Village, an award-winning $134 million mixed-use
residential community that transformed the student experience on the Tampa campus.
Auxiliary Enterprises fosters an engaging environment that supports academic achievement
