Books under $250 can be purchased using LPOs and P-card.
Books over $250 and which last longer than a year (as opposed to an annually updated reference) are considered OCO (other capital outlay) items.
Text books for USF students are not an allowable expenditure of USF funds. Text books can be purchased for loan and such books are considered university property and be returned at the end of the semester.
Books included in the cost of a continuing education course or other department driven class using collected fees may be purchased. Books can be purchased for staff training.
