The USF School of Aging Studies has been featured in a special issue of the Public Policy & Aging Report (PPAR), an official journal of the Gerontological Society of America that explores policy issues generated by the aging of society. Each thematic issue is designed to stimulate debate, highlight emerging concerns, and propose policy options. The article was part of a PPAR issue devoted to academic programs that train gerontologists to conduct research that informs public officials on the value of programs that support and protect older Americans and their family members.

The article describes the 30-year history of policy research in the School of Aging Studies, up to the current day, and was chosen as the issue’s Editor’s Choice. View the article here.
