Alex Knorre, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Criminology has been appointed to the editorial board of the Journal of Quantitative Criminology, a leading publication for quantitative methods research in criminology published by Springer. The journal is widely recognized as one of the top-ranked publications in the field of criminology.

"The Journal of Quantitative Criminology is where most of the methodological progress in criminology gets debated and published," Knorre said. "Joining the board is a chance to help shape what counts as good quantitative work in the field, and to bring more attention to the kind of computational and causal-inference research we are building at USF."
