About USF

A Preeminent Research University and AAU member with campuses across the Tampa Bay region, the University of South Florida is dedicated to empowering students to maximize their potential for lifelong success.

Consolidation of USF Campus Websites

As of July 1, 2020, the University of South Florida is under a single accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools' Commission on College (SACSCOC) for the Tampa campus and our branch campuses in St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee (learn more about accreditation).

Part of the USF consolidation and accreditation process includes an overhaul of the St. Petersburg campus and Sarasota-Manatee campus websites to reflect the new structure. Please note the following:

  • The main URL for the USF St. Petersburg campus is now stpetersburg.usf.edu. The old address of usfsp.edu has been retired.
  • The main URL for the USF Sarasota–Manatee campus is now sarasotamanatee.usf.edu. The old address of usfsm.edu has been retired.

Replacing domains is a very complicated process. While migration and redirect plans have been enacted, there will undoubtedly be some pages that are no longer available, broken, or have been moved. Please be patient as we work to fix any errors that may arise. If you are having trouble finding any information, please email us at:

General FAQ

What if I had a webpage/site on usfsp.edu or usfsm.edu that did not make the migration over to the new subdomain and I can no longer access it?

Please reach out to the campus lead content manager to provide specific details. They can assist in providing the best course of action for your circumstances.

What if I find out-of-date pages on Google or other search engines?

The online footprint of USF is massive and it will take time for old pages to cycle out of search results. Please complete this form if you think you see something problematic. Your submission will be routed to the appropriate lead content manager. Please be aware that each search engine has their own process and algorithms for crawling websites and USF has no control over timing.

What if I find out-of-date pages on USF websites?

As everyone works to update web content throughout our three campuses, there may be text that gets missed or pages that we are not aware of. If you see something that does not reflect USF's new consolidated status, please complete this form. Your submission will be routed to the appropriate lead content manager. Please be patient as everyone works to fix any errors that may arise.

What about USF Health?

USF Health’s web presence remains at health.usf.edu and was not affected. Please email support@usf.edu with any questions regarding their websites.
