Overview

The University of South Florida School of Social Work offers a variety of programs to choose from based on individuals varying needs and situations. The programs our school offers include:

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
  • Master of Social Work (MSW)
  • Online Master of Social Work (MSW): Is offered in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia. Non-Florida residents should contact their state's licensing agency to ensure this program meets their state's professional licensure requirements. For more information, click here. Classes are offered over 8 consecutive semesters (including summer). Our Online MSW Program is delivered via a sequenced cohort model. Our Online MSW Program provides a combination of fully online and live online courses. All live online courses meet from 6:30 - 8:45 EST Monday and Wednesday evenings beginning in the third semester.
  • Online Advanced Standing Master of Social Work (MSW): Is offered in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia. Non-Florida residents should contact their state's licensing agency to ensure this program meets their state's professional licensure requirements. For more information, click here. Full-time students will complete the program in 3 semesters. Part-time students will complete the program in 5 semesters. Our Advanced Standing Online MSW Program is delivered via a sequenced cohort model. Our program provides a combination of fully online and live online courses. All live online courses meet from 6:30 - 8:45 EST Tuesday and Thursday evenings. 
  • Ph.D. in Social Work
  • Concurrent Degree Option: Public Health and Social Work M.P.H./M.S.W.
  • A variety of field placements for Bachelor and Master level students
