Selection Process:
The Policy/Fellowship committee of the Graduate Council will review the candidates,
rank the applications, and make the award selections.
Award Specifics:
Stipend: $12,000 per year, for up to two (2) years (contingent upon academic progress).
Tuition: This award carries a tuition waiver.
Eligibility:
Academically talented full-time doctoral students in areas specific to STEMM (Science,
Technology, Engineering, Math and Medical fields, including Psychology) who demonstrate
financial need.
Note that USF's M.D. and Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) programs are not eligible for consideration
for this fellowship.
Previous Genshaft Family Doctoral Fellowship winners are not eligible to reapply.
The fellowship recipient must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United
States or its Trust Territories.
