Genshaft Family Doctoral Fellowship

Application/Nomination Process: Direct from the applicant. Part of the Graduate Student Success (GSS) Fellowships.
Selection Process: The Policy/Fellowship committee of the Graduate Council will review the candidates, rank the applications, and make the award selections.

Award Specifics:
  • Stipend: $12,000 per year, for up to two (2) years (contingent upon academic progress).
  • Tuition: This award carries a tuition waiver.
Eligibility:
  • Academically talented full-time doctoral students in areas specific to STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Medical fields, including Psychology) who demonstrate financial need.
  • Note that USF's M.D. and Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) programs are not eligible for consideration for this fellowship.
  • Previous Genshaft Family Doctoral Fellowship winners are not eligible to reapply.
  • The fellowship recipient must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States or its Trust Territories.
