IEP Workshop Series - Fall 2021

The Inclusive and Equitable Pedagogy (IEP) Workshop Series was developed by USF faculty and staff as part of the broader IEP initiative. Each workshop addresses an integral aspect of implementing inclusive and equitable pedagogy, including:

  • understanding identity and bias,
  • strategies for student success,
  • facilitating difficult conversations, and
  • utilizing the TRUTH (Teach, Reach, Unite, Transform, Heal) Framework to foster inclusive excellence.

Workshops will be discussion based, giving participants the opportunity to engage with how these ideas inform their own pedagogical practices. Participants will leave with a one-page
practical application guide to help them apply these topics in their courses.
