Honeybees save USF student from allergies, now he’s returning the favor
Kobe Phillips developed a passion for honeybees after finding relief from his severe allergies by eating honey. At USF, Phillips is working on creating pollinator habitats using bio receptive sculptures and he plans to attend graduate school to focus on further developing these designs.

As an incoming freshman, he started his academic journey through the summer Academic and Cultural Engagement Program, in which he traveled to Costa Rica. USF President Makes Historic Gift, Donating $20 Million to Establish the Judy Genshaft Honors College
The University of South Florida System has flourished under President Judy Genshaft. Now, she continues her transformational leadership – this time through a historic gift. President Genshaft and her husband, Steve Greenbaum, have donated $20 million to the USF Foundation. This marks one of the largest gifts ever made to USF.
