Alternate Calendar Course Registration

Alternative calendar courses do not follow a traditional 16-week schedule. Courses typically start later and/or end earlier than full semester courses. After the self-service Drop/Add week at the beginning of the 16-week semester, alternative calendar course requests for adding, dropping, and withdrawing must be processed manually by the Office of the Registrar. The Registrar's Office must assist students once the add/drop period for the full 16-week semester is over. In order to request an add, drop, or withdraw from an alternative calendar course, students will need to fully complete and submit the Alternative Calendar Request Form including their name, signature, USF ID number, the 5-digit course reference number (CRN) to be added, dropped, or withdrawn to AlternativeCalendar@usf.edu from their USF email address.

Each Alternative Calendar course has a drop/add period that extends 4 days past the start of the course. Any requests to add or drop after this time period will require an approved ARC Petition.
