Mandated Policy Information

Eligible students in the programs listed below may enroll during Open-Enrollment period offered in the beginning of Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Students may also enroll due to a Qualifying Event and receive pro-rated insurance premium.

College of Marine Science
College of Medicine*
College of Nursing*
College of Pharmacy*
Intercollegiate Athlete**
International Student on Optional Practical training or Curricular Practical training

Open-Enrollment for Fall or Annual coverage will begin July 15, 2026, continuing through September 19, 2026.

Visit usf.mycare26.com to review the 2026-2027 USF Student Health Insurance policy and obtain your insurance card.

* College of Medicine, College of Nursing, and College of Pharmacy students:
Students must submit proof of comparable health insurance to their respective college by the stated deadline, if opting out of the USF Student Health Insurance Plan.

** Intercollegiate Athletes:
Additional enrollment or waiver requirements may apply. Contact your program for insurance documents. Details will be shared once finalized (TBD).
