Minors

Biology

A minor in biology complements many interests and helps prepare students for professional fields adjacent to the life sciences, including environmental and patent law, health and nutrition, science education, environmental consulting, and scientific writing. Non-Biology majors who declare a biology minor have the opportunity to augment their academic experience with a deeper understanding of the biological sciences.

Students who are declared in any Biology or Microbiology major offered by the Department of Molecular Biosciences or the Department of Integrative Biology are ineligible for this minor.
