Nicole West was the Assistant Director of the Academy for Teaching and Learning Excellence (ATLE) from August 2012-December 2015. She earned a B.A. in Psychology, M.Ed. in College Student Affairs, and Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from USF and has worked in postsecondary education for more than 15 years. Some of her past professional experiences include various appointments in residence life, multicultural student services, and undergraduate admissions. After leaving ATLE, Dr. West became the Assistant Director of the Global Citizens Project at USF.
Dr. West's research focuses on examining the psychosocial experiences of African American women in the academy and evaluating professional development in student affairs. She is also an adjunct instructor in the Department of Leadership, Counseling, Adult, Career and Higher Education (LCACHE) at USF.
