The CBCS Research Council has selected the recipients of the CBCS Internal Grant for fall 2022. The following faculty members will receive upwards of $20,000 to carry out their proposed research endeavors.
From the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy (MHLP), Assistant Professors Kristin Kosyluk, PhD and Margaret McGladrey, PhD received the award to support their project titled, "Implementing and Evaluating the Feasibility and Relative Effects of an Anti-Stigma EBP Package." Judith Biesen, PhD, also an assistant professor in MHLP, was awarded the grant to support her research, "Development of an Etiological Model of Alcohol and Substance Use Facilitated Relationship Distress and Intimate Partner Violence to Promote Healthy Relationships among Aging Adults."
Representing the School of Social Work, Assistant Professor Dasha Rhodes, PhD, LMSW was also selected as a recipient. Her research is titled "Identifying Training Needs and Curriculum Development for Social Work First Responders."
Jisook Park, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, received the award to support her project, "Neural markers of statistical learning in young children."
