This is the third straight year that USF has set new fundraising records, receiving over $168 million in philanthropic support from more than 54,000 donors in the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2024.
Research
The five-year project, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will create specialized infection control training and resources for fire and EMS personnel through a new training hub.
Athletics
The student athletes are set to represent their home countries and the University of South Florida at the XXXIII Olympic Games. USF's five Olympians are the most among any school in the American Athletic Conference.
USF’s historic invitation to join the Association of American Universities has taken what many in Tampa Bay have once considered a “best-kept secret” to an unprecedented new level. Being an AAU member is a tremendous milestone for USF as it formalizes USF's position as a leading research university. USF is the first public university in Florida to be invited to join the AAU in nearly 40 years and is now one of only two institutions from the State University System of Florida to serve as an AAU member.
