The University of South Florida College of Engineering celebrated its graduating class with two induction ceremonies held Friday, May 9, in the Marshall Student Center Ballroom on the Tampa campus.
Graduating seniors participated in the Order of the Engineer and the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Induction into the Profession ceremonies, marking their formal entrance into the engineering and computing fields.
The Order of the Engineer ceremony recognizes the ethical responsibilities of engineers and includes the traditional acceptance of a stainless steel ring as a symbol of the profession.
The CSE induction celebrates the commitment of computer science and engineering graduates to uphold professional integrity and responsibility in their future careers. This includes the acceptance of a pin.
The College proudly welcomes these students into their respective professions and looks forward to the impact they will make in the years ahead.
