Graduate and professional students represent approximately 25% of the combined student body across all three USF campuses. Graduate Student Orientation is an opportunity to learn about the vast system of resources, support, and services that USF has in place to enhance your graduate student experience, education, and professional development.

New Graduate Student Orientation is sponsored by the Office of Graduate Studies for all new students. You will be introduced to a wide range of offices, organizations, and services that are here for you. You will hear from faculty, staff, and current students who will share information and advice to ease your transition and enrich your graduate experience at USF.

Many graduate programs also schedule (and may require attendance at) departmental orientations that focus on your academic program and department/college resources, and we encourage you to attend both the New Graduate Student and departmental orientations. You will find that these orientations complement each other. Contact your program director for details on your departmental orientation.
