FAQs: Accessing Oracle HR

How can I access Oracle HR? 

You can access Oracle HR in several ways:

    • Via MyUSF: Navigate to the Business Systems drop-down and select Oracle HR.
    • Quick Links: Add Oracle HR to your MyUSF Quick Links for easy access.
    • Mobile App: If approved by your department leadership, you can download the Oracle Fusion Application app from your mobile device's app store. 

How can I report an issue to the HR Service Desk?

If you require assistance or encounter any issues, you can submit a HR Service Desk ticket for support. The HR Service Desk is accessible on MyUSF under Quick Links. The team will be on standby to provide prompt responses and solutions.

How do I log on via desktop, laptop, or computer?

To log on to Oracle HR from MyUSF on a desktop, laptop, or computer, use your USF login credentials, authenticate, and you will be directed to the Oracle HR home page. Accessing Oracle HR with these devices should not require an environment link to be provided. That is only required for the mobile app which is detailed below. 

What do I need to do to log on via a mobile device or app?

It's important to note that mobile device or app usage should only be accessed if approved by your department leadership. If you are unsure, please consult with your line manager. If your area approves mobile device or app usage, you can follow one of these steps to access Oracle HR: 

MyUSF: 

    • Navigate to my.usf.edu on your mobile device browser.
    • Select Oracle HR within Quick Links.
    • You will be prompted to input your USF credentials and authenticate.
    • Once the login and authentication are complete, you will be navigated to the welcome screen mobile view.

Mobile application:

    • Access the App Store or Google Play from your mobile device and search for the Oracle Fusion Application.
    • You will be prompted with: "Enter your environment information to get started." screen. The URL that you will need to type into the app is: http://fa-ewkd-saasfaprod1.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com
    • You will be prompted to input your USF credentials and authenticate.
    • Once the login and authentication are complete, you will be navigated to the welcome screen mobile view.

You may have questions as you explore Oracle HR, just like with any new system. Fortunately, several resources are available to assist you. These include your Human Resource Business Partner, Oracle Guided Learning (OGL), and the HR Service Desk found in the MyUSF Quick Links.

  • You can find the Human Resources Business Partner for your unit by going to the Embedded Services Directory on HR’s main contact page. 
  • For real-time guidance while using Oracle HR, click the floating information icon to activate Oracle Guided Learning (OGL). 
  • If you need further assistance or technical support, visit the HR Service Desk through the MyUSF Quick Links to submit an HR Service Desk ticket. If there are any known issues, a message will be displayed at the top of the screen.

rETIRING PROJECT DRIVE

Project Drive was the name of implementation process for Oracle HR. As Oracle HR is now implemented and live, the Project Drive name along with the associated web pages will be retired.
