virtual

On Tuesday, November 17th at 1:00 pm, Dr. T.H. Culhane hosted a webinar entitled, "Field Learning and Gamification in the Age of Virtual Reality as apart of the National Geographic Learning's Virtual Learning Series. The webinar will host participants from all over the world that serve as educators. During the webinar, participants learned how to educate on technologies and concepts of global sustainability. Participants also learned how to create food/energy/water/zero waste technologies and how to apply these technologies in the field as well as in the classroom. Lastly, they learned how to share concepts of sustainability for students through the usage of Geographically Precise video games which can be created by both teachers and students alike. Dr. Culhane has also developed an interactive museum gallery as part of the webinar which is a concept that he will be implementing in all his lectures as well. We are pleased to have one of our own being able to share their knowledge of teaching sustainability with others. Congratulations Dr. Culhane on a successful webinar!
