Lucia Martin, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Languages in which I conduct therapy: English and Spanish

My approach to counseling: I take a person-centered approach to counseling, focusing on the holistic needs of each individual. This includes developing a culturally-sensitive understanding of your identity, beliefs, background, and history, while taking care to honor your unique experience. I integrate several theories and methods which incorporate mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused strategies to help you make and achieve your goals. I strive to provide a warm, safe environment in which you feel heard and understood.

My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you during this moment in your individual journey to wholeness and wellness. My aim is to equip you with lifelong tools and help you develop a growth mindset using your own strengths, worthiness, and resilience.

Fun Fact: I am an avid reader and traveler. I have been to over 25 countries on four different continents. My hobbies include creative writing and experiencing the arts, to include literature, performing arts, visual arts, music, and cinema.
