The donation was received from Gary Rosenberg, a distinguished engineer with over four decades of experience in the field. His contribution to our engineering students’ education will create opportunities for USF students to gain hands-on experience that complements their theoretical studies at the USF College of Engineering.

Hao Zheng, an associate professor in USF's Department of Computer Science and Engineering, has been awarded a $599,493 NSF grant for his innovative research on improving System-on-Chip (SoC) design validation. His work focuses on creating a communication-centric validation framework, leveraging advanced deep sequence modeling to enhance the safety, reliability, and efficiency of these critical systems.

According to U.S. News & World report, USF’s online graduate engineering program is ranked No. 53. according to the 2025 Best Online Graduate Programs rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report. USF’s highest-ranked program is inside the Top 20 among all public and private universities and another program improved by 24 places to break into the Top 50.
