Associate Director, Postdoctoral Affairs and Graduate Student Development
Dr. Kiri Kilpatrick
Dr. Kiri Kilpatrick is the Associate Director of Postdoctoral Affairs and Graduate Student Development. In her role, she oversees the strategic planning and operations of the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and collaborates with USF administration, faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars, and students to develop programs and resources to help postdoctoral scholars and graduate students identify and prepare for satisfying and meaningful careers.
Prior to joining the USF family, she was the Associate Director of Graduate Student Development at Rice University, where she served as an advisor to their graduate student government and coached graduate students on applications to nationally competitive fellowships. She received a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Rice University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Academic Program Specialist
Brandis has been a member of the Office of Graduate Studies since September 2017. She previously worked in the Office of the Registrar and the Office of Undergraduate Studies. She holds a B.S. in Biology and a M.S.M.S. in Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida. Within the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, she assists with the annual NSF Survey of Graduate Students, the Provost's Postdoctoral Initiative, and other projects. She is also the course liaison for the Office of Graduate Studies assisting graduate faculty with the course proposal process.
