CMS students, faculty, staff had a blast at St. Petersburg Science Festival

Tom Frazer, CMS dean, had fun as well, even though his clothes were a casualty of the event. He participated in the opening ceremonies that were quite literally…a blue blast (Watch the video for evidence).

It was the first time since 2018 that the annual St. Petersburg Science Festival was held in person on the USF St. Petersburg campus, and the College of Marine Science (CMS) was front and center in the action.  More labs participated this year than ever before. 

The event took place on a couple of perfect-weather days: February 17 and 18, 2023.

“The vibe at Sci Fest this year terrifically vibrant,” said Teresa Greely, director of education and outreach programs at the CMS.
