About:

Michael Bolen oversees the University Performance & Survey Analytics team in the USF Office of Decision Support where he provides research and analytical support to senior university leadership and the broader university community on a wide range of issues including strategic planning, policy analysis, peer benchmarking, university rankings, survey research, and data submissions to third-party organizations. Mr. Bolen works collaboratively with university colleagues as well as non-university stakeholders to address university and higher education data collection, analyses, and reporting needs.

Mr. Bolen joined the USF Office of Decision Support in 2011 and was previously employed as a Data Analyst at the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Education:

Mr. Bolen is a Ph.D. Candidate in Higher Education Administration and holds a post-master’s graduate certificate in Higher Education Leadership from the USF College of Education. Mr. Bolen also holds a master’s degree in Experimental Social Psychology with a minor in Quantitative Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and in Gerontology from the University of Florida.
