Data Administration & State Reporting
Overview
Data Administration & State Reporting is charged with certifying and managing the submission of all institutional data to the Florida Board of Governors (BOG) on behalf of the University of South Florida (USF), in accordance with BOG Regulation 3.007 and USF Policy 11-007. The office serves as a liaison between USF and BOG’s offices of Academic & Student Affairs, Finance & Administration, and the Inspector General.
As a member of the Council of Data Administrators (CODA), we collaborate with colleagues across the State University System of Florida to promote reliable and consistent data reporting. Our office provides support and guidance to university stakeholders on information requests and ensures timely, accurate responses to approximately 210 data requests annually. These data are used by the Florida State Legislature, Governor’s Office, and other governmental agencies for program evaluation, policy development, institutional assessment, and performance funding.
