Graduate Student Clinicians Program

Evaluation

The purpose of evaluation is to assess the progress of each graduate student clinician and facilitate professional and personal growth. This evaluation process is collaborative and mutual in that supervisors and graduate student clinicians evaluate each other in an ongoing and timely fashion.

Graduate student students receive detailed information about the evaluation process during orientation.

Progress towards competency-based goals are evaluated formally and informally by primary supervisors and any other supervisors, in coordination with the GSC Coordinator and Training Committee. Informal assessment occurs regularly throughout each semester, while formal written evaluations are completed at the end of each semester.
