Assistant Instructor or Assistant Professor of Instruction (Job ID 35399): The Urban and Regional Planning graduate program is looking to fill a 9-month, permanent position for a Planner-in-Residence. The successful candidate will teach studio, core, and elective courses in our graduate and undergraduate programs, and pursue external funding to support community-engaged learning and research.

Assistant Instructor or Assistant Professor of Instruction (Job ID 35266): The School of Public Affairs is looking to fill a 9-month, permanent position with an emphasis in public policy, public administration, and/or state and local politics. The successful candidate will also be responsible to organize, manage, and deliver the public policy internship programs offered by the school. Teaching responsibilities will include the public policy internship program undergraduate curriculum (e.g., public policy making, intro to american government, state and local politics) as well as upper-level electives and graduate courses in our MPA program.

Assistant Professor (Job ID 35274): The Urban and Regional Planning graduate program is looking to fill a 9-month, tenure-track position beginning on August 7, 2024. We are particularly interested in candidates who can address issues of land use planning, urban design, zoning, real estate development and finance, health and the built environment, and land use/transportation linkages. The successful candidate will be able to teach one or two courses in our foundational and analytical methods core; develop electives in an area of specialization; and offer studios or service-learning courses.

Minimum requirement to teach a graduate level class: must have a doctoral or terminal degree.
