Global Citizens Courses

Students pursuing the Global Citizen Award may take Global Citizens courses (GC Courses) as part of the globally engaged activity requirement.

In order to receive credit towards the Global Citizen Award activity, courses must be taken the semester after the approval date. For example, a course approved in April 2017 would not count towards the award until Summer 2017 when the updated syllabus and learning outcomes have taken effect. These courses go through a certification process and work with our faculty developers and various USF councils to be certified as GCP courses. A final grade of B or higher is required in each course.

Have a certified Global Citizens course? We can design a course flyer for you! Contact us today.

Students can search for GC Courses on the Schedule Planner (you can also access the Schedule Planner via OASIS).

To find GC Courses offered in a given semester, enter the Schedule Planner and select "Tampa" for your USF System Institution. Then follow these steps:

+ Add Course > Search By Section Category > USFT Global Citizens Proj Crs > Select Subject (or All Subjects) > Browse courses in the Course drop down and add them to your schedule planner.
