About my research

I specialize in thermal analysis of the oceanic surface layer.  My past experience includes climate analysis and the formation of tropical cyclones.  I am studying for my Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography under Dr. Bob Weisberg.  Our focus is on global ocean temperatures and how they are evolving in this change climate.  The ocean plays an important role in the global climate system.  Are our current tools for measuring the ocean system changing as the climate changes?  My goal is to answer these questions.

Why USF CMS?

Why I chose USF-SP: USF-SP is an institution with something for everyone.  There are a variety of professors with differing interests, and there are many research facilities within and around the campus.  As if having a great school isn’t enough, there’s plenty to do in your spare time.
