Institutional Biosafety Committee
The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) oversees the use of recombinant DNA technology, infectious agents, select agents, and biological toxins in research procedures conducted at or supported by the University of South Florida. All work involving the use of these materials must be registered with and reviewed by the IBC.

Conflict of Interest Program
The primary responsibility of the USF COI Committee is to review COI disclosures of investigators who conduct USF research (human subjects, animal and basic science) and to develop management plans with safeguards to ensure that the financial or personal interests disclosed by those investigators will not bias the design, conduct or reporting of the research.

Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee
NOTICE:
DRAFT application(s) (ACORP or USF) that will use VA resources (VA personnel, VA facilities,
VA funding) should also be submitted to the VA R&D Committee at the same time the
DRAFT application is submitted for veterinary pre-review.
University of South Florida's (USF) faculty and staff can now submit their Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) protocols electronically, allowing the transition from a paper submission process to a simpler, more efficient electronic IACUC (eIACUC) submission. This can now be submitted electronically through the Applications for Research Compliance (ARC) platform. Access the ARC portal.
