Academic Advising

Undergraduate Students

The Office of Student Services provides undergraduate academic advising to prospective students, newly admitted students, and continuing students within the College of Engineering.  We advise all students whose major is general engineering, specifically students not yet admitted to their department. General Engineering major students are required to meet with one of the academic advisors every semester prior to registration for the next semester.

Undergraduate students that have completed the admission requirements for their major and applied for admission are advised by their respective department.

Graduate Students

Graduate level students are admitted directly into their engineering programs and are assisted by their academic department. If you are Masters or Doctoral student please visit your department.

Advising Hours and Location

We are currently advising students using remote methods (email and Microsoft Teams app).  Here's a guide to using Microsoft Teams.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm

You may contact your academic advisor to arrange for an advising appointment outside these hours (generally before 8 am and early evening).  We recommend scheduling an appointment, but for students who have immediate concerns or quick questions, please email an advisor for assistance.
