Electronic Thesis & Dissertation

Current ETD Deadlines

The following are the current ETD deadlines for the three most current semesters. Future dates may change from time to time. Please check here at the beginning of each semester to ensure you are on track.

ETD Workshop

We strongly suggest completing the Workshop the semester prior to defending/submitting your ETD so that you have all you'll need to prepare the document as you write/format. There are both online and in-person options.

Visit the Workshops and Help Sessions page for more details.

Please Note: Only items that are bolded are our deadlines - the other dates are included for your convenience.

ETD Review

Review of the ETD will generally require 7-10 business days (once all of the submission requirements have been completed), although ETDs submitted close to or on the deadline may require longer review times. Keep an eye on your inbox so you don't miss any updates to your submission.

Late ETD Submission

ETDs submitted after the thesis/dissertation deadline without an extension request form from Dr. Ruth Bahr will not be processed for that semester's graduation. You will have to register again in the following semester.
