Countdown to Camp: Staff Training Continues

OCG Staff Training Continues

OCG Staff Training Continues

Just 10 short days until camp begins and our staff and directors are hard at work making sure the campers will have a great experience!

The Oceanography Camp for Girls provides a unique opportunity for its staff to collaborate and share their own knowledge in order to create the best teaching and learning environment. Many of our staff have extensive knowledge of the ocean and come from a variety of backgrounds; from undergraduates pursuing science degrees, USF graduate students studying biological, chemical, physical, or geological oceanography, to local fishing and outdoors enthusiasts with first-hand experience with our local environment.

Every year our activities, field trips, and experiments become better and more creative due to the input from our staff, directors, and our campers!

Make sure to follow our blog and Facebook for more sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes camp action!
