When you participate in short-term individual counseling, you will meet with a trained
professional who will help you work through personal, emotional and psychological
problems that get in the way of your academic success. In these sessions, a counselor
will help you develop your personal wellness goals in a confidential, non-judgmental,
and respectful setting. You may work together to recognize strengths and areas for
growth, make healthy choices, and develop better coping skills.
We have many programs, including drop-in groups and on-line tools, to help with decreasing stress and anxiety, and to enhance your mood. USF also has
many fabulous Health and Wellness campus resources to stay mentally well this semester and we encourage you to use them all!
