Originally from Hutchinson, Kansas, Melissa is the Benefits Program Manager who oversees all VA education benefits processing, serves as the university's primary contact with the State Approving Agency and the VA's Education Liaison Representative, manages compliance with VA rules and regulations, and leads the SCO team. She is a U.S. Army Veteran with experience in both active duty and dependent life. Melissa has been with USF since 2018 and OVS since 2022. She holds a B.S. in Social Sciences from St. Thomas Aquinas College. Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, traveling, and relaxing on the beach.
