Anaida Hasan, Class of 2019

August 14, 2018

As an International student, Anaida Hassan had the opportunity to meaningfully and effectively engage with diverse people, places, events, and challenges. She will be graduating in December 2019 with her bachelor’s degree in accounting. While at USF, Anaida participated in the Corporate Mentor Program and was a board member in the University Conduct Board and Student Advisory Board, a Muma Ambassador for the USF Federal Credit Union and a treasurer for the USF Accounting Society. “These opportunities have really helped me to become a stronger leader, form lasting relationships and learn the inner workings of student affairs.”

After USF, Anaida is planning to enroll in law school as well as pursue her MBA. Her passion for financial markets and women empowerment has been the driving force behind her decision to attend graduate school. Anaida also wants to initiate a NGO dedicated to providing education to underprivileged individuals in the society.

According to Anaida, “It is of paramount importance that first year international students seek to make friends from different cultural backgrounds including local residents to enrich their world views and perspectives as well as benefit from this cross-cultural exchange.”
