I’m forever grateful to be part of such a rich legacy.”

Javaris is currently living abroad in Guyana, South America while serving in the Peace Corps as a Community Health Volunteer. The program focuses on advancing public health programs of adolescent health, nutrition, youth development, health education curriculum, and girls empowerment. Javaris specializes in grades 6-9 at primary and secondary school levels, and community health outreach and enrichment in conjunction with a local NGO and the Maternal and Child Health department. “Although sometimes challenging, serving in the Peace Corps is a continuous adventure.” With less than a year left of his program, Javaris looks forward to where it will lead.
